Floss & Pixel ("Floss & Pixel", "we", "us") is a digital marketing agency based in Toronto, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the internal content tools we operate to manage and publish our own marketing content, including our TikTok integration.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you contact us or submit a form, we collect details such as your name, email, company, and the message you send.
  • Usage data. We collect standard analytics such as pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, device, and browser, to understand and improve the site.
  • Content-tool and platform data. Our internal content tools connect to social platforms we own or manage (for example, our own TikTok account) to schedule, upload, and publish our content and to read basic account and post information. This connection is authorized by the account owner and is used only for our own first-party accounts.

TikTok integration

We use TikTok's Login Kit and Content Posting API through our content tool to manage our own TikTok account. With the account owner's authorization, we access basic profile and post statistics to confirm the connected account, list recent posts, and upload or publish videos we produce. We do not post to, or collect data from, third-party TikTok users. Access can be revoked at any time from the TikTok account's connected-apps settings, and our use of TikTok data complies with the TikTok developer policies.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide our services.

  • To create, schedule, and publish our own marketing content across the platforms we own or manage.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate (for example, hosting, analytics, and platform-integration providers), and only as needed to provide their services, or where required by law.

Data retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and apply reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You can also opt out of non-essential analytics through your browser settings.
